WHY COYOTES?

The most misunderstood and exploited wild carnivore. They are adaptable, resilient, and seen as "tricksters" in folklore. Being opportunistic omnivores and scavengers, they also are seen hunting with other species such as badgers or following the sounds of crows. The scientific name "Canis latrans" means "barking dog" as coyotes are known for their vocalizations. From barking to shrill yips and howls, they say it all.
